Please point me to an insert system you'd recommend. Advantage of litedogs is step in and a bit easier k&g. Definitely x2's are more versatile.

PPS for me , that's a mid fat boot binding combo. I met step it up a notch with a switchback 2 binding, and occasionally ski 3-buckle.

Great info.
I'll be skiing these with two buckle plastic boots and a Bull-dog binding. I'm sure I'd like the Vectors but there is a chance...Falketind 62 is a light and super playful BC ski that can handle almost every aspect of Nordic BC skiing. Perfect for descents in deeper snow and when you want to play around, telemark and push those 75mm leather boots to the limit!

Any thoughts on the Voile Objective?
Yes, it's past time I get some Voile BC skis. The Charger is definitely too wide for me. The V6 and Vector look to be the same ski, what's up with that?...

I would like to have a nice pair of thin hardpack skis...like my old Elans..but it is not that much harder to turn a fatter ski. My current hardpack skis...Last edited by Baaahb; 26 December 2020, 04:53 PM.

Although your conclusion may be right, I don't think that's the explanation. It's not THAT much harder to roll some fat (130 tip, 110 waist) skis....

P turns are easier, especially in bumps because the tele turn lengthens the arc of the skis and bumps are easier with shorter skis. That in addition...
