F1's are all over the place depending on model and year. F3's fit true to Scarpa's sizing. I wear the same size F3 that I do T2, TXP, etc.

This is correct. Your heel is not supposed to contact the heel platform, as that would interfere with lateral release. Though given all the other forces...

I'm curious what takes time on your TTS transitions. I find it to be even faster than AT, and definitely easier than Meidjo (especially for down to up)....

Well, if we're designing our own virtual boot, I would also want a tongue that stops right above the instep buckle rather than continuing up behind the...

My duck-butted F3's are 1500g. If Scarpa just made those, I'd be happy. If they threw in a lower friction pivoting cuff in tour mode, made of Grilamid...

If you don't need stiff springs, the Voile long-travel tour (soft) springs seem to be more readily available now. You still can't get them direct from...

If you're talking about foot comfort (support, heel retention, cramps, blistering, pressure points, warmth), I find my TXP's to be equally as comfortable...

Yes, T2's are also heavy and lack ROM. They are the first boots I toured with. Boots have come a long way in 20 years....
