  • TR: Hot Springs Ranch (Nevada)

Not a banner snow year in the west by any stretch of the imagination, but we still went out to Hot Springs Ranch and had a great time. The owners are planning mountain bike tours out of the ranch starting this summer, get in touch with him if you're interested.

Video of the trip here (including walk through of the ranch):

There are self-guided and guided / catered options. The owner just opened the place a few years ago and is still very flexible. I recommend if you're really trying to avoid the crowds. He likes to focus on the Monitor and Toiyabe ranges (particularly Kingston Canyon), but if you have a specific goal, he is licensed for 4 ranges in the middle of Nevada.
