I live on the mainland i.e. continental Europe

Nick, it was a great pleasure for us too, to meet the "Vancouver Tele Crew". Mount Cain and BC in general are at the top of our ski agenda for the next season, I am pretty sure it is going to happen!!

Exploring Jedediah, the bay in the background gets completely dry at low tide.

Next day heading back to Nanaimo on the Strait of Georgia again.

The Desiderata at the anchor at Nanaimo Harbor. This aging Catalina 36 has served us well during the entire duration of the trip.

    The last sunset at sea....

Swinging, no stern to this time, at the anchor at Musket Island.

Next day, following the Malaspina Strait, Texada on the right the mainland on the left, directed to Jedediah Island.

A northwesterly light wind allowed some sailing fun beating up Sabine Channel between Jedediah and Texada Islands.

Landing at Deep Bay of Jedediah Island, while the Desiderata is anchored stern to. No adjustments needed this time.

...and it worths the effort i.e. spectacular views of the inlet Malibu Rapids and Mcdonald island included.

After the hike we spent the next night at the mooring buoys of Mcdonald Island, in order to closer to the Malibu Rapids and ready to pass at slack water early the next morning.

Passed the rapids into Jervis Inlet the awesome view of Mt Albert.

Here we go, beating the wind toward the exit of Jervis Inlet heading for Musket Island.

Crossing Malibu Rapids at slack water into Princess Louisa Inlet, the primary goal of our sailing trip is in sight!

..end here we are. The Desiderata moored at the end of Princess Louisa Inlet near the Chatterbox falls.

Seaplane, another popular way to get there. There is also the option of hiking 4/5 days from Squamish valley, but it is not as popular..... I guess.

To keep up our mountaineering/hiking reputation we went for a 850 mt vertical hike to Trappers Cabin and beyond.
