Mr. Toque, the master stylist of the Highwood, has returned!
We worked out some early season tangles at a foothills salon on Sunday-

The tanning lights were not working, unfortunately-

However, it was a nice start to the season with surprisingly good snow conditions, not the usual foothills facet fest.
A few very low angle turns were had, mostly though it was just a stroll in the park.

Great highlights and a full head of wavy turns, meadow skipping Thursday on the sunny side.

A good conditioner will be needed soon on all aspects, as blustery winds turned from cold NW to warmer SW late in the day.

Highwood Pass:

No new snow in a week and none in the foreseeable forecast.

Road closes in a few days.

All tourist areas have been tracked out up the ying yang.

I believe I've once been in that secret stash, yet I still will give heaps of praise and admiration to aqua and anyone else who's been going for it. Looks like my early season skiing is going to be limited as of yet, seems like the next snow to fly will happen after the gate comes down for those still trying to find anything up that way.

P.S. Why is this thread not rated "excellent"? I can only imagine that someone was so blown away by the greatness of it, their head slammed into the keyboard and hit a sub par rating by accident.
