  • Voile Wasatch Speed Project

Just saw this on Voile's site.

Skiing, lightweight, powder, award, winning, snow, snowboard, voile, cap construction, splitboard, Backcountry, Made in, Utah, USA, ski, touring

Sub 4 lbs. Interesting. Super skinny (63mm). Notched for skins on the tips ala SkiTrab.

Most of us wouldn't bother for a skimo set but it's certainly interesting that Voile put effort into it. Not crazy expensive either.

Suggested Skier Weight Range (lbs-kg) 110-170 lbs

I guess skis that are under 4lbs per pair aren't going to hold up very long with bigger skiers. Not that I would ever ski on a ski that measures 84-64-72 and is 160cm long anyway....

Is this a specialized ski for rando racing on consolidated snow?... am I missing something here?
the fall line is your friend.... resistance is futile

It's an affordable entry level rando racing ski.
