So I was on vacation and spent an afternoon in Chamonix. On the way down from Aiguille du Midi, there was an Armada ski tester dude who had a mid-90's waist BC prototype. Flat tail, and what looked like early rise. I overheard him talking with his buddy and they were saying that going to CF didn't help weight - that a thinner base and edges was the biggest weight savings. In talking to him, he said they'll have a BC ski for the '14/'15 season. IIRC he said 98mm waist for the thinner one and something like 107-108mm for the wider one. Both include a layer of metal.

Looked like a very straightforward ski. Pretty interesting.
