  • Bellow guards for tx comps?

Anyone have a source for these? Despite Scarpa's blog posts saying they're replaceable, they don't actually sell 'em. Was told I would have to buy a whole new boot to replace them!

Anyone have luck/advice with polyurethane repairs of worn edge guards?

That is new since I replaced mine around two years ago.

This is kind of a surprise. Scarpa is usually really good with their service.

Yeah, I was a bit surprised myself. They've been great in the past with my ntn freedom issues.

      Loving the boot though!

Unless something's changed with the new boots (I have a pair but can't look at them now) the bellows guard is integrated with the tongue. Maybe call again and ask for a new set of tongues? Like James I replaced mine a couple of years ago and didn't have a problem (cost me $32+shipping).

My new last season Tx Comps have the bellows guard molded into the tongue, it's one piece. Maybe you can talk to someone else at Scarpa and get some replacement tongues.

Make your own, a chunk of nylon or a piece of MTB tire.
