I've got Fritschi Xenics and inserts to swap them on for fixed heel days, fixed heel friends coming to town or when my tele boots are broken.

They've been great except the brakes don't always deploy when you take them off.

I mounted a pair of ION LTs on my friend's new Atomic Backland 95s. OMG that is a light setup! I want to add those skis to my quiver.

Saw termination dust on the peaks yesterday on my bike ride. We are looking at a few days of warm, fair weather. And I have seen pictures and video of people skiing in the higher mountains of Daisetsuzan National Park the last few days. It's about to be ON!
