  • OT: Hey Deadheads (and other music lovers)

GD Producer Bob Matthews is hitting the road this summer for a mini tour as a musician instead of a producer. He has health problems and may not be around much longer. He's always wanted to do something like this so he and a few friends (one of whom is an old friend of mine) have formed a group called The Pond and they will play some shows in Colorado and in the Bay Area this summer. Should be pretty cool, if even just for the people involved but I have a feeling they will make some great music too.

They have a Kickstarter to fund the tour (watch the video there). Check it out and give them your support if this sounds like a good thing to you.

Looks interesting thanks for posting. I've been looking for an excuse for a bay area trip.

If any of you go to see the Pond, tell Stan (vocalist, big guy) that I sent you. Stan and I have had some great adventures going to dead shows in the 90's. He's a great guy and fun to chat with.

RIP Dave Brockie. Named my new pup GWAR, in his honor, brought him home a day or two before DB died. Heroin bad. Thanks for the GD links. MS.
