The Challenge: Camcorders, cameras with lenses longer than 6 inches and tripods are forbidden.
The Work-Around: To capture jitter-free shots from the stands, attach a GoProHero3 ($200, gopro.com ) camera to aSteadicam Curve ($100,steadicamcurve.com ), both of which are small enough to slip into a jacket pocket. Just be sure to practice using the Steadicam ahead of time; it takes time to get the hang of controlling the way it swivels.
