  • Blizzard Bushwacker owner?

Since I bought those BBushwacker, I have been questioning the mount position... I talked to a rep that told me to mount same position as alpine. It feels a bit weird, as if I am too much on my tips. When I ski powder, I feel unbalanced. Mounted with CRB 3pinHW, skied with T2. I thought at first I would ski em at the resort too... I tried it; it is okay but I prefer to carve with a 72-75mm waist ski! So I am using em off-piste. I am tempted to move the binding back 2 cm... What do you guys think?

Reps/Customer Service always say mount the same as alpine (must be in the play book of standard answers). Most often they don't Tele

It is in the playbook of standard answers because it is a good one. I mount all my skis on the alpine line and I have not skied on alpine gear in 15 years. There are always exceptions but I think it is the correct recommendation for most telemark skiers. Of course there are skis where the alpine line is off and would not be ideal for most people regardless if they were using alpine or tele bindings.

I know nils used to say that people with a low stance might be better to mount the tele binding back a cm or so. While this makes some sense I can't say since I don't have a low stance.
