                Well happy Birthday Lynn-zilla!

As for years on the planet, I'll give a hint. One year more than the year I was born.

And thanks all! The party will not be televised.

                PS: It's EricO's b-day too! Happy B-Day Eric.

                    Nice pic. VT.

Dostie, you must be Californian bred -- those are the only ones I know who would wear a visor, or was it a balmy 75 in Valdez on that day?

                    Happy birthday.

Wrong. It was a balmy 40 degrees.

I'm a Deeeetroit boy, home of the motor city madman (the Nuge), Bob Seger, and many, many others. OTOH, I've spent nearly half my life in Cali, so I'm a born-again Californian. Figured that became legit when I learned to windsurf. And I've been wearing visors since forever.

                          Dostie, Happy birthday...

I learned to windsurf in the hudson river on a "Rocket 12" 20 years ago. The board was so waterlogged that it would punch through small waves. I think it weighed 35lbs...

I don't sail anymore, but have a lot of decent gear that nobody really wants to buy..... even though I would sell it for cheap..... I think more people are kiteboarding now. It requires less wind to do it, than sailing does, so kiter's get more days out on the water...

                          Do you still sail Dostie?

I'm a kiter now, but I still have my windsurf gear. Kiting allows more time on the water. When it's nukin' though, I'm more comfortable windsurfing - less err potential. Kitemares get malevolent real fast in big air.

thanks or posting the date. It saved me from digging through the WMU alumni listings...
