Stoke hunters wanted

Looking for a few folks willing to help raise the stoke factor on this forum. In some ways this is a call for y'all, as in ALL of you reading this, to start/continue posting photos of your ski tours and human powered trips. Above and beyond that, this is a call for a few folks to volunteer some time to sniff out and highlight a picture of the week on the home page of the host site.

Highlighting the picture on the home page takes a bit of logistical work and involves creating a Post in WordPress that includes a high res. version of the photo to be highlighted, a short quip from the thread in this forum, and creating a link back to the thread where the photo originally was published. You load it in the que, I'll pull the trigger on when it runs - at least one per week.

Some of you moderators may wish to shift your emphasis for this. PM me if you're interested.

Do the photos need to fairly current or can we pull up old photos?

Well I have been meaning to see if I can figure out the photo hosting here per the photo tutorial and I figure this is good a place to try it. This is an older photo since it is just getting skiable in the BC here. One of my favorite ski partners in the side country near Whitewater BC.





I like being able to directly load the photo from my computer to the post and the edit functions are easy to use.

Great photos. But....I'm closing this thread. The point was NOT to post your photos here, the point was to see if anyone is interested in helping with the logistics of promoting great threads with great photos on the host site. To make sure you can't post here, I'm closing this thread. If you're interested in helping, PM me. If you just want to add stoke, start a new thread. Capice?
