  • Surface skis?

Anybody skiing surface skis? I was looking at the New Life modelsand thinking of mounting them with some NTN bindings.

Website dimensions for 184 cm are:
    SYMMETRICAL 3 STAGE ROCKER, 15.5m Radius, 9.1lbs/pair, Dimensions 151/122/151

Has anybody here skied these or know anything about Surface?

How about experience telemarking on rockered flat skiis with no camber?

I got some One Lifes last year and mounted with an AT binding. You have to ski pretty centered on them, crazy how you can fully pressurize your shin against the boot in deep pow and never worry about stuffing a tip. Only put a few resort days on them and am undecided if I will keep them or not got them for really cheap just to try, I like a little more tail to my ski, these things have a running surface about the same as a snowblade.

That said my buddy who came off years of skiing Spats loves his and has been touring with them for years, he does have trouble sometimes when the skinning get more challenging though.

Got mine from EVO last year for something like $240 shipped

I almost went for the New Lifes but they use extruded bases and I prefer sintered.

Evo has them pretty cheap! Less than where I saw it on TheClymb

        I have had/have a few:

Decent skis. They chip a little too readily. The bases are a bit slow, and maybe not as durable as I'd like since I'm on ICE all the time.
