Finally noticed there is a function to donate on the site.

Based on past experience, I think it's a great thing to have. I don't mind paying for bivouac.com for example.

Mods, feel free to move or delete this thread, wasn't sure where to put it. Didn't think General would be getting as much traffic but thought it could be moved there later.

Thanks for pointing that out. It's been there forever, but I feel it needs to be self motivated and appreciate you drawing attention to it. I'll add that if you're inclined to donate, I'll be inclined to send you some swag as a thank you. Stickers at a minimum, maybe some 18" EYT straps. The more you donate, the more I pass back. No obligation, just my way of saying thank you back.

Nah. Those positions get reserved for the highest bidders.

While it IS important, the site needs to provide info first and if it's valuable, tips are always accepted. But your point, that it was too well hidden, suggests I need to draw attention another way, maybe a tip jar graphic in other "strategic" locations.

It is already there...and the subject is even about a stick-er in the "sticky" threads at the top.

Honestly, what's more important (at this moment) is carving out the time to resolve the problem with posting JPG images. Or finding a nerd who is capable, willing, and trustworthy to do it.

Great idea... how about putting it between 'Trip Reports' and 'Search' on the menu... it would be easy to see without taken away valuable ad space?

Also, renaming the current 'sticky' from 'EYT Stickers' to 'EYT Donations' might be more effective.
