I would like to have the cues from someone who owned, demoed or checked closely the Salomon Shogun 2012 (with the simili Japanease flag on the topsheet). I've read everything on the web and it is a bit contradictory. What's his particular stiffness? I've heard too that it wasn't made for lighter skier, but it does come in 164 lenght... heard the contrary too (real easy to ski, blabla). It has a tip rocker and possibly a sort of early rise tail... what about the rest? Camber underfoot? Flat camber? I think it is the former but not sure... Thanks again.

Good for resort
I have a pair, and I use them for resort. They are great skis, stiff and very easy to turn. A bit heavy for BC in my opinion, but real wide for super deep days. I break them out for cruisers and pow days up to 6 inches or so.
They're great sticks, but not what I could call "fun" skis. Pretty meat and potatoes. A good addition to the quiver.
