Any golfers?

I've had BC ski partners that think golf is the antithesis of skiing. One of my biggest ski hero friends is an avid golfer. I've had an on-again-off-again relationship with the sport since I was a young lad. Recently it has been "on." Do we have other golfers around? Handicap? Competitive? Cheers.

I once worked on a course over a summer as a caddy understudy, decent pay for a kid, got my game to consistent mediocrity (i.e., bogey golf), now play about once per two or three years, still suck, and still find it slightly less frustrating than plumbing projects.

You actually have a ski hero ? Aren't you an adult?

Every person that I have earned turns with also plays golf. I can't say that for lift served, but that is a much larger group.

But they also are all into mountain biking and drinking beer, so not sure what any of this means except that my friends are a fairly homogeneous group.

So we finish the eighteenth and he's gonna stiff me. And I say, "Hey, Lama, hey, how about a little something, you know, for the effort, you know." And he says, "Oh, uh, there won't be any money, but when you die, on your deathbed, you will receive total consciousness." So I got that goin' for me, which is nice.

I'm playing to about a 16 right now. Must say I've been enjoying being back in the game. The new equipment makes a huge difference at my ability level. Gives me something to do while waiting for the snow to fly

Entertainment*, yes, but more importantly, the core founding and guiding principle of the PGAS is to raise awareness, through the game of golf, to the plight of those who do anything outdoors in socks.

So often, rather than ridicule, a simple gesture like an awkward smile or feigning encouragement, can make all the difference.

As far as my game goes, went to the driving range a couple of weeks ago, 7 wood consistently out shot the 3 wood. I gotta give this game up. That ain't right. Maybe I should just give up the 3 wood?
