SLT had a nice hailstorm on Monday. Ridge Run at Heavenly was all white and then there was this in the neighborhood:

Thanks for posting this photo. When I first went off to school in Ft. Collins long ago, and saw those early preseason dustings on Long's Peak, I always got very excited. Still do, though don't see that here much these days.

Sh*t….I saw the title of this thread and got excited. I thought finally a discussion about something other than which binding weigh 8 grams less than some other binding. My expectations were high. Then I clicked on it and saw a picture of Baaahb's neighborhood.

Agreed. I figured at least a shot of some snow covered Tetons. But hail on a road in a neighborhood in SLT? Complete limpdown.

            ain't no turn like tele!

Feels like an early winter here in the Colorado Front Range - cool wet summer - yard is looking spectacular - well not compared to the grass carpets to the left and right ...

It's Springtime in Chile. They are in a drought down here, too. It's a little skimpy but there is enough to ski in Portillo and it skis nicely with 3" of fresh yesterday. Here's the stoke shot from our hotel room.

It's turns! Of course it's worth the hike!
