My first memories of him. I bet he was a hoot to hang out with.

Not many TV characters get a car maneuver named after them. The Rockford turn
        Eshew obfuscation.

noah beery jr. too, his dad on rockford. that pic is maverick, he did black and white tv show and movie which will now be classic. same attitude in everything he did, "support your local sheriff" too. he was a smartass but big enough to back it up. j

            Rocky was a great role!

"Beth" was another regular, played by Gretchen Corbett. She would give Rockford the bad news and try to set him straight.

The Rockford role seemed tailor made for Garner.

Saw the man himself in the paddock at Lime Rock when I was about 18. I had liked his work in "Grand Prix" and the fact he went on to do some very respectable racing on his own time.

I tend to think ... when things like this happen ... this line has really started to move ... I should be at the front real soon ...

Of all his stuff, I liked "Nichols" the best. He will be missed.

                  Hey, we're moving!
It's turns! Of course it's worth the hike!
