So apparently the album "Even in the Quietest Moments ..." by Super Tramp has cover art shot at Eldora?

Top of Corona? (Not like there is another choice. ha!)

Yep, I listen to the radio in the mornings ...

While it doesn't quite meet the same relevance to skiing that a piano at the top of Corona does, the cover photo to Stephen Stills' first solo album was taken in his back yard in Gold Hill after a spring storm not unlike the one we just had.

And this is the only album on which both Jimi Hendrix and Eric Clapton performed.

well the DLR cover is awesome! I'd mention Keller Williams "Floating in the Freshies" but I find it highly annoying. Are there any truly good songs about skiing or is it like scripted fiction movies where it's unattainable?

Leonard Cohen has a song "Avalanche."

              It's not really about skiing.

If you want a ski video google "Hansi Hinterseer ski twist." I can't bring myself to embed it. Click https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vBLxzv17zc8 if you dare.

BTW there is a thread on Supertopo where some of the old grizzlies talk about rigging that David Lee Roth cover shot.

yes "Hot Dog" is the best fictional scripted skiing movie that exists- which I think proves my point!

In describing his sexuality, DLR once referred to himself as a "flaming heterosexual"....I always thought that was great wordplay,
and a really apt description of his persona.
