        Back on topic, I spoke with many folks on my 3 week non ebike mtb odyssey.
        Go with a pedal assist type ebike
        fat tires
        changing a flat on a hub drive is a bitch
        unless home built , price of admission is about 2400 US, new. Home builts work and are cheaper but can be fraught with mishap.
        Nothing will move you efficiently , except a snowmachine, on more than about 3 inches of unconsolidated snow.
        I am going to keep looking and learning and try to stay ahead of all the new b/c skiers predicted to be out and tracking up all the low hanging fruit. I guess i will adjust my own definition of low hanging fruit!
        Hey Quad, you Lynn and I have skied together a few times when ole' Ed was tearing it up. I remember you being a big fit dude. He taught me how to tele, and not die in snow, "it's a crap shoot".
